Welcome to Fambazion, a digital sanctuary and living archive dedicated to documenting the extraordinary journey of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC). This platform was built not just to look back at where we have been, but to claim ownership of our story, following the humble and powerful lessons of building and visionary leadership demonstrated by Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi.

When the Bishop gave me the sacred assignment to produce a documentary for our Golden Jubilee I knew it required a vessel large enough to hold fifty years of divine history. After deep reflection I realised that a traditional, closed film or even a standard static hard copy book alone would limit the true scale of our story. Therefore I decided that a living, global digital archive is the perfect and most complete way to execute the Bishop’s vision. It serves as the breathing foundation from which both our digital media and future permanent hard copy chronicles will flow. This is not a departure from the mandate it is the ultimate realisation of it, a continuous, multi-dimensional legacy preserved perfectly for both this generation and the next to watch, witness and remember.

The responsibility to record and preserve God’s work is deeply embedded in scripture. In Psalm 102:18, we are reminded: "Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord." Just as the ancient biblical scribes meticulously kept the Books of Chronicles to remind Israel of God's covenant, deliverance, and faithfulness, the work of the scribe ensures that the footprints of holy leadership are never erased by time.

To mark the historic Golden Jubilee—celebrating 50 years since the promotion to glory of our foundational father, Reverend Samuel Mutendi—Bishop Dr. Nehemiah Mutendi gave Simbarashe a direct and sacred instruction: Create a testament to these last 50 years. Build a chronicle that serves as a permanent remembrance for future generations.

This collaborative approach mirrors Hebrews 12:1, which speaks of us being "surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses." By opening this space to the global family, Fambazion allows the individual testimonies of millions to converge into an undeniable, collective witness of what God has done through His servant.

Every miracle you have witnessed, every sermon that changed your heart, every song sung in the dust of Mbungo, and every personal encounter with the man of God, Bishop Dr. Nehemiah Mutendi, is a vital piece of our history. We must not let these moments fade.
